An Intuitive Journey

By: Anahita Adivi

Four years ago, I was severely ill and hospitalized. A friend brought two Buddhist nuns to visit me at the hospital. Since it was our first meeting I had no expectation or clue that that they’d become an integral part of my life.

Buddhist Symbo for Peace

They were more like two angels that flew into my life and are still here to guide me.

When they arrived, I was wearing a mask before the mask became a fashion statement. I was always ahead of my time when it comes to fashion.

All jokes aside, I had to wear a mask because my white blood cell count was 0.02% which meant almost dead. A little encounter with a bacteria would have ended my life. I have no idea how I made it.

A miracle from above perhaps.

A Miracle: The loutus flower grows in mirkey waters without taking on the filth of it’s habitat.

We decided to sit in the waiting area together. Dragging my IV, which was on rollers, I meet them at the lounge area. I felt awkward because I couldn’t hug them or shake their hands. Dejauve! It felt like now, only it was the year 2017.

They could only see my eyes.

As soon as I sat the elder Nun ( I will not name them as they wish to stay anonymous) nervously put her hand in her bag and pulled out a pouch. She then pulled the contents of the pouch which looked like colorful beads.

I don’t remember exactly what they were, because she quickly put it in the palm of my left hand and covered it with her hand.
.
The contents of the pouch were not monetarily valuable, but they were energetically precious.
.
I did, and I had no idea what was happening. The ladies looked at each other in amazement then looked back at me.
.
The elder Nun said. Do you know what I just put in your hand?
.
I replied: No.
.
She continued: I’ve only taken these beads out of its pouch but twice in the past 40 years. The last time I them out was ten years ago.
.
She said they were given to her by her master 40 years ago. The Nun’s master had prayed over them for several years. When she received them from him, she also prayed over them for 100 days. The beads contained a combination of both of their love and intention for humanities well being.
.
She said: You are closely related to the Buddha. You were sent here as a teacher.
.
I had no idea what to think of that information. I didn’t know anything more than the basics about Buddhism or the Buddha.
.
Since then, they have selflessly prayed for me and taught me about Buddhism. Buddhism is a peaceful philosophy of seeing everyone and everything as love. These are my thoughts on wha’t I’ve seen.
.
Looking back, I now realize that incident was a pivotal moment in my life. I had no idea what would follow. Today, I can’t imagine where I’d be without my Buddhist friends whom have selflessly guide me.
.
I have had my share of struggles, as before that moment, I was following Jesus’s teachings at a Christian church. I had moments of back and forth. I still like what Jesus stands for, and the relentless peace and love he wanted for his fellow human brother’s and sisters.
.
Unfortunaly, most Christian’s don’t follow the true teachings of Jeasus Christ. They have divided him into separate churches withe different names, interpreting Jeasus’s teaching according to what works best for them. I am not criticising them, however I know that Jeasus meant to unite not separate.

To love Jeaus and follow him is to love all regardless of color or creed. Jeasus sat with sinner’s. The following biblical verses shows how Jeasus taught his disciples by example. He was a true leader who saw all men as son of God as he was.

Jesus Calls Levi and Eats With Sinners

Mark 2:13–17

13 Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them. 14 As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.

15 While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

In these versus Jeasus demonstrated the we are all worthy of love and respect. If we invite the unhealthy and dine with them we teach through example the right way to live.

Friends, when are we finally going to see ourselves the same way Jeasus saw us. If you we were made in the image of God wouldn’t that mean that we are perfect?

Back to my story:

While I was chronically ill, both Nun’s held several ceremonies to pray for my family and me.

They advised me that when it comes to the teachings of the Buddha or Jesus, I had to choose one route. They are both sages whom have taught us and many others how to live and how to treat our fellow man.

I didn’t like to hear that and thought that I would continue learning about the Buddha and reading Jesus’s teachings.
.
Things stopped going my way, and I was all over the place with my work and relationship, including friends and family. Nothing was going as I intended. I am not blaming it on Jeasus’s teaching, but saying that if you are the chose something you must focus on one thing. So you are a believer please follow Jeasus’s teaching directly and question the churches or cleargy that preach sepragtion and denamination.
.
I realized I was not making time for meditation. So I began meditating again. Soon I only had room for one teaching style as I pursued entrepreneurship while holding down a job.
.
My Buddhist friends introduced me to this Deity named Avalokitesvara. At first, it was a mouthful and very difficult for me and my mom to pronounce. My mom struggled more than I cause that’s how she does.

Avalokitesvara

The more we prayed with this diety, the more healing I got. Avalokitesvara is the diety of compassion, and has 1000 hands and 11 heads. She gives us abundance with a pure heart as her hands are connected to her heart.

Once I was healed, I stepped away from her. But now, she keeps coming back in my dreams and my thoughts. I feel guided by Avalokitesvara once again. I’ve come to understand that my distance from her caused a haphazard life.

The past two years I’ve felt a loss of direction. As she is back in my thoughts once again I feel guided and connected to the true essence of why I was reincarnated in this reality.

Avalokitesvara is mysterious, and I am unsure what this new journey entails, but I can feel that it is time to jump. There comes a moment that we are presented with our calling. It feels scary and we are hesistnat because there is no safy net, yet we must jump regardless of our fear. It will be life-changing and you will never regret the jump.

Jump!

Now that I am healthy again, her guidance is more about her 1000 heads helping guide me to share my knowledge of intuition with my fellow YouTube channel followers of AnahitaTv.
.
The past six years have been a painful yet influential time in my life. I believe we experience pain and suffering when things don’t go as planned. If we let go of thoughts of pain, the lessons will reveal themselves.
.
It took me since 2018 to realize this — only three years, but who’s counting.
.
As human beings, we fear pain because we don’t know how to deal with it. We see it as a form of punishment. Most religious people believe they are sinful and that God is punishing them when they experience moments of pain.
.
I’ve learned that this is not the case. We live in a dualistic world. The opposite of pain is JOY. We are in this world to experience Joy, and if we don’t familiarize ourselves with pain how could we feel joy?
.
Without pain, we wouldn’t know the taste of joy. I’ve suffered more pain than I can convey in this message. I see the pain as part of my journey. The bigger the pain means a much more intense moments of JOY.
.
This conclusion feels new and old at the same time. I now know that my path here is to help my fellow man to live from their intuition.

Now, I will share how to deal with joy, pain, and life’s journey through my YouTube channel. @anahita_tv — This is my role in this lifetime.
.
The Wisdom I’ve received has been overwhelming and sometimes paralyzing. But I know some of my sufferings have been due to my silence.
.
The Wisdom I’ve obtained is not mine but belongs to humanity; I can no longer hold on to it. I need to share it with you all.

Since birth, I’ve felt an enormous joy for this lifetime. Regardless of the pain I’ve experienced, I have never allowed it to sway me away from my faith in the universal energy of love, and compassion I feel for each and every one of you. I love every spec of dust, every insect, every flower, every tree and every animal.

Self-Realiztion Fellowship, Malibu, CA. Looking towards Ghandi’s memorial.

I am not concerned as to how a handful of fellow humans treat me. I still love you and pray for your well being.

I see you as a part of me, therefore I love you. We are all one!
